Super pads not for heavy flow
"I really wanted to love these pads but with a heavy and medium-heavy flow the pad leaked through the sides of the pad each time I wore the super pad. The blood was mainly centered in the middle with another large portion of the flow going up the pad (but only leaking on the sides and upper side area of the pad). They’re so much more comfortable than leading brand pads and do stay put with movement (walking, at least), but the constant leaks are a dealbreaker to me. They also have not caused me any itching or irritation like the always radiant scented winged pads I used to use before trying this brand. I may try the overnight heavy pads to avoid the leaks but if those leak too this brand’s may just not be for me. For reference- with a heavy flow, the pad lasted barely under 3 hours before I had to change it so it didn’t overflow. On day 2 with a medium-heavy-ish flow it lasted 3 and a half-ish hours before I had to change it."

"4-Star Review: Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, and I feel much better knowing that I’m using organic, non-plastic, chemical-free materials for my menstrual care. The absorption is great, so no issues there. However, the main downside is the adhesive on the wings—it doesn’t stick well enough, which causes the pad to shift, especially during movement or exercise. This can lead to leaks, not because of absorption, but because of placement. If the adhesive were stronger, this would easily be a 5-star product!"

Greenwashing and super pads are too thin
"Disappointed in the greenwashing. These pads are biodegradable, but not compostable - which means they could biodegrade in hundreds of years (I don’t see a degradation time listed anywhere). I also found the long super pads to have the wings in awkward places and the pad itself was pretty thin, just incredibly long. Based on all the glowing reviews, I have a feeling this one will get deleted."

"I love the sutainability and comfort of the hemp fiber. The fit doesn't suit me as well as others. I actually like a somewhat thicker pad. I'm petite with a heavier flow. The width and wrap-around wings protect my underwear just fine, but something a bit thicker feels more secure on those heavy flow days. I also prefer to not have wings if I can avoid them. They don't feel as comfortable and moisture wicking as my hemp underwear. The hemp/cotton top sheet is much more comfortable than most pads, but I have another brand that uses 100% organic cotton for the top sheet and I like that soft feel even better. It's softer in a way that feels dryer against the skin. Overall I love these and think the primary design should stay as-is for the many woman who love them exactly as they are, but I'd love another line for women who prefer no wings or a thicker design."
